Our flight plans have been made! We will leave February 2 for Beijing! We will spend several days touring Beijing and then we will meet Lily on Feb. 11th! We will fly home on Feb. 20th! Now, the packing begins!!!
We are so excited for yall!! YAY! We'll be checking the travel blog often after you get on that plane for China! I can't wait to read all about your journey as it unfolds!
This is really happening Aimee!! I am so excited for ya'll! I look forward to reading about your journey as it unfolds and also hearing about the adventures in person when you get back. Most of all I look forward to seeing that precious little face with her new family.
Praying for everything to continue to go smoothly...
We are so glad you two made it safely to China and that we can now follow your blog. Looks like you got a much better view of the water cube and the bird's nest than we did. We also liked Beijing and the contrast between modern and old-world. We will be looking forward to each update and to the day you get Yuan Yuan. When I pronounced her name the correct way this morning, Olivia acted like she knew who I was talking about. I showed her your picture and told her you are Yuan Yuan's Mama and Baba. Take care you guys and enjoy your time in Beijing.
We are about to embark on a journey of a lifetime. Our precious daughter, Lily, is waiting for us in an orphanage in rural China. This blog will be used to document our travel. We covet your prayers during our journey.
