Oh I love the update and pics! LOVE the one of you Aimee, sprawled on the bed...I can almost hear that sigh of relief through the computer! ;)
I'm so glad your flight was so smooth, and you were able to learn some more Chinese! Woo Hoo!
I know the lights of Beijing are not the only lights shining in that city...now there are two little Jesus lights from Alabama shining too!
Yall have so much fun touring...you will be making sweet memories together as a couple! And then the best is yet to come....sweet memories with your new daughter!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us!
Love and prayers continuing....

Hey, I was SO glad to see another update!! I wanted to share something with y'all...it is kinda silly, but it made me think of you two. I noticed the expiration date on my milk is Feb. 11th.....I always get excited about big dates in my life (due dates, birthdays, anniversaries)....and it is always kind of exciting when it is no farther away than when my milk expires!! So, in other words you will have Lily and I could still be drinking the milk that is in my fridge NOW (not that we can ever keep a gallon of milk for longer than 2 days in this house...) Anyway, maybe that will give you a laugh if nothing else! I just thought I would share that, because I am sure you didn't realize that you don't have long before you get her.....haha...yeah right!

I can't believe it, and that is all I have to say right now...

Hugs,

P.S. I thought of one more thing...I said "I love you" to YouYou today and she said it back to me in Chinese. My heart melted...

Hi,

I found the link to your blog from Dreaming of Tea For Two who is waiting to bring Mia Hope home. We are using the same agency. We are waiting for a referral from China. I also grew up in Alabama in a city named Jasper which is close to B'ham. I can't wait to follow your journey and hope and pray that you have a safe and wonderful trip. May God bless your family.

How cool to follow your journey and remember mine with my sister. I remember hunger pains at 3 a.m. Hong Kong time, when my stomach was still on Pacific Standard Time (which equaled noon). My sister graciously pulled out her snacks and fed us.

I'll be praying for you!
